At K2 Scaffolding, we are proud to announce that one of our own has been shortlisted for the prestigious Apprentice of the Year award at the ScaffEx24 Scaffolding Excellence Awards 2024. The NASC (National Access and Scaffolding Confederation) announced the shortlisting on the 24th September, 2024 with ScaffMag. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and outstanding potential demonstrated by James Joseph Aicken, who has been selected as one of the finalists in this highly competitive category.
The ScaffEx24 Scaffolding Excellence Awards, hosted by the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC), are renowned for celebrating the best in the scaffolding and access industry. These awards, which will take place on Friday, 29 November 2024 at the Belfast International Conference Centre, aim to recognise innovation, excellence, and significant contributions in areas such as safety, design, service, and project execution.
James’s nomination for Apprentice of the Year highlights not only his technical skills and commitment to safety but also his proactive approach to learning and development within the industry. As a member of our team at K2 Scaffolding (NI) LLP, James has continually gone above and beyond in his role, demonstrating the kind of dedication and passion that sets him apart. He embodies the values that we at K2 strive to nurture: skill, reliability, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
This recognition from The NASC (National Access and Scaffolding Confederation) is particularly meaningful as it shines a light on the next generation of scaffolders. Apprentices like James are the future of our industry, and it’s important to celebrate their contributions and support their growth. The fact that James has been shortlisted alongside other talented apprentices from across the UK is a clear indication of his exceptional potential.
